I have never encountered such a lack of competence and professionalism from an attorney. Despite being warned about Chad’s limited and ineffective experience, we gave him a chance, and the quality of representation and communication was extremely poor. I would not recommend this firm or Chad Lampe. Update 3/7/26: Norred Law (Owner), you are telling a bold-faced lie. How disgusting. You sent me an email after you returned from a “long vacation” (your words) stating that you would get to the bottom of the issue with Chad as you did not know what was going on—not me—and then I never heard from you again. Don’t try to frame this as me being upset simply because I left a valid and factual one-star review. If anything, it should have been zero stars. I’m not retracting anything I stated in my review.

Warren Norred agreed to represent me in a matter I had originally filed pro se. I paid a $10,000 retainer and clearly communicated my priorities for how the representation should proceed. Over the course of several months, some basic filings were made to keep the case active. However, the central objective I retained him to pursue was not advanced. Instead, time was spent developing a different legal direction despite my written instructions that it was not my priority at that stage. Communication was a persistent problem. Many of my emails and directives went unanswered. When I eventually sent an email requesting accountability, I asked that fees spent on work I had not authorized be credited toward the work I had actually requested. He refused and promptly filed a motion to withdraw as counsel. In my experience, the $10,000 retainer and several months of time were largely consumed without advancing the objective I had clearly communicated from the beginning. That time and money would have been better spent retaining competent counsel.

I called the office last week to inquire about legal representation, and unfortunately the experience left a very poor impression. The first thing I noticed was that the woman who answered the phone sounded absolutely miserable, which immediately brought my expectations and enthusiasm for the firm down quite a few pegs. As the conversation continued and I explained the type of attorney I was looking for, her attitude only seemed to worsen. Getting basic information felt like pulling teeth, and the interaction felt rushed and unwelcoming. Eventually, she confirmed that the firm does handle cases like mine and offered to set up a meeting with someone else. However, by that point, I was so turned off by the interaction, her attitude, and what it communicated about the firm as a whole that I decided to take my business elsewhere. Thankfully, today I found another firm that was genuinely excited to take my case. I had no hesitation handing over the $15,000 retainer they requested because I am willing to pay for the level of professionalism and respect clients deserve. I hope management is able to coach whoever answered the phone, as first impressions matter greatly. I can only imagine how many paying clients and how much business may have been lost due to similar interactions.
