Inept doesn't accurately describe Mr. Potter, but it's as close as I can articulate. You would do better to represent yourself. Knowing how incompetent he is I'm considering sueing civilly.

Stay away from this guy!!!! He is a horrible attorney he took 5000 from me and did nothing for my case I am about to lose my case because of him . He lost all the evidence I’ve sent him. And when I asked for my money back he kept arguing with me about me not understanding my own case hahahaha. I had to switch attorneys at the end.

I would give him 0 stars very unprofessional and kept arguing with me. What I was explaining to him was not that difficult but he could not comprehend. No wonder he has low review

I would give a negative review if I could. He took $4500 from me, had ME write up all the paperwork, then never submitted. After a few months of going back and forth, I confronted him about it and demanded my money back. He sent me a letter in the mail excusing himself as my lawyer (stating I asked for him to be excused). He never submitted a single form as my lawyer. Never answered the phone or called me back.

Such an incompetent lawyer, he stole my money and never did a thing about my case, his only employee diana adame gave me the run a round for almost 2 years, I was very patient, always providing all the paperwork they needed, they're so eager to take your money and not do their job.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Belittling clients in a public hallway (with several people in a quiet room just next to the hallway) and telling them they still owe him $500...and that they don't really know as much as they think they do. I have not used this man's services but I wouldn't if I needed to and would not recommend based on this.

Made a payment to him in error. He decided to create a charge to steal my payment.

This man was so inept, I spent $2300 on his services and 6 months later he still did not file. He is obviously going out of business as he has no employees. The man is having difficulties at home but that just means he needs to stop taking money. I ended up having to hire a new lawyer who in 30 days had me filed and my bankruptcy has been finalized. I have reported him to the bar and he has never refunded any money. If you need a good lawyer in Corpus call (name omitted) ! He took over when this lawyer could not do the job.
