Had the WORST experience with Roman. They didn't know anything that was going on with my case what so ever. Would get one bit of information from his assistant, when the information didn't make sense I'd ask Roman, who would say that wasn't right and literally argue with me about what was said TO ME. I found him through my prepaid legal, which I'm sure he doesn't make much money through, but if you're going to be unknowledgeable, lazy, and downright rude--please just don't be a part of that program if those clients are not going to be a priority to you. I ended up hiring a lawyer, who looked at the divorce decree Roman put together for me and pointed out so many grammar errors, and things that just were just incorrect, for example when one person is awarded real estate property, the legal description of that property should have been there, not just the address...so that's going to cost me addl money. Just don't waste your time with this guy, I was treated like garbage and he is not at all a subject matter expert. I ended up going with Victoria Law Firm and left Roman (even though it was $2500 more to do that) and it was so worth it. I regret even using my prepaid legal and Roman to begin with. Edit and update to my review to respond--Roman I have our email exchanges, I was never once combative with you as you and your assistant were EXTREMELY rude right off the rip. I have the receipts if anyone ever needs them =) Also, I am fully aware you never had any control over the judge but I do have an email from YOU confirming you moved my date, when I had a new lawyer they were extremely confused as you never moved it, like you promised. Your law office is absolute garbage.

Well Molly, we are glad you retained new Counsel as dealing with your behavior from day one was unbearable. Your argumentative approach to every step of the Divorce process made things even worse. You simply could not accept the fact that your assigned Judge was on Medical Leave and your case was being delayed by the Court and there was nothing we could do about it. We understood your need to get the proceedings concluded so that your husband would not retain counsel and challenge your one sided agreement. However, we could not control the Court issued delays in your proceedings. Now you must resort to personal attacks to further your frustration with the process and the Court imposed delays. We can only hope your new Counsel was not subjected to your behavior that you displayed with our office.

This attorney was recommended through my membership with Legal Shield. The first time he called me I could feel he was knowledgeable and very informative. The case was referred to him from a law firm in Oakland County; which is a Legal Shield office. I wasn't given information about all costs a d presume I had too many questions. It wss a Probate Court case. He did get csse started; but didn't keep me informed enough(my opinion) about the progress of case, or all costs.

Mrs. Patton, the costs were explained at the beginning of the process and you retained our office to proceed. We provided you details of costs at your request and you advised you could not proceed as you could not afford for us to continue and we withdrew at your request. Probating an Estate is a process and unfortunately involves costs. We hope you were able to complete the process.
