I am a disabled vet and am unable to work whats so ever. So when I went for Social Security Disability I believed that the process would make sense and that one agency who puts something in black and white of someone job status would make sense to another agency of similar form. How I was embarrassingly wrong. I fought for years to get them to see how serious the situation actually is but the result was to only get one denial after another denial. On what I figured was my last shot I contacted Maggie Schotts Law Office and they were empathetic and sympathetic to what was occurring. They talked me through the situation and then jumped right in. They did everything and anything my wife and I didn't understand they easily and quickly broke it down for us. As the original court date came Maggie and her staff kept us at ease and ensured we understood everything that would occur. When the day came Maggie was there first and kept us calm. However the conclusion of this case would not occur on that date and the case was pushed until my C-file came in. Even though this added much more stress on to the situation they kept us reassured and walked step by step with us through the continuing months. As the final date came again Ms. Schott and staff kept in contact and our anxieties down as much as possible. When her and I were in the court room she made sure I understood everything that was going on and being said around me. I think the most human and empathetic thing that got me was her emotions to mine and my wife's joy of the approval. You could see that she truly understood the pain and hardship that these cases cause on disabled individuals and their families. She and her staff truly care and will fight for the best outcome.
