Shay & Associates Law Firm, LLC

My son was very seriously injured in an industrial accident that required years of medical care. Tim Shay and Nick Williams got involved and took care of my son. The outcome was incredible and will help my son for the rest of his life. I strongly recommend that you hire Shay Law if you are injured. Thanks Tim and Nick.

Stephanie Shay-Williams helped me when workman's comp wouldn't. I was injured in 2021. WC kept putting off what needed to be done with my knee when Stephanie Williams made it that I finally was able to have knee surgery after 2 yrs of workman's comps making me jump through their hoops. Stephanie really cared and worked for me! I highly recommend her! She will work for you too!

I used Shay & Associates law firm for a recent automobile accident not only were they there to guide me they were very caring and professional. I would say they became friends . I give them 5 out of 5 stars.

This was our first time dealing with a personal injury case. We had no knowledge of the processes with litigation. My husband and I were very grateful for Mr. shay and his exceptional staff. Shay and associates worked very hard on getting our case resolved with great results for us and our family. We personally appreciate the communication, expertise, and persistence that shay and Associates law firm provided. We would highly recommend this law firm not only to friends and family but to anyone needing personal injury assistance. Our family greatly appreciates the love and understanding you have for your clients and the hard work, time, and effort your firm provided. Thank you very much Mr.Shay you are an amazing lawyer with a great staff.

Super helpful and friendly

Stephanie at Shay’s was able to resolve my case today and I’m pretty pleased that this process is finally over, I was injured in a car accident but is definitely a good law firm worth your business

I had Stephanie work on my case after my previous attorney left the firm, she stepped in and got the job done swiftly. She kept me informed throughout the entire process and worked quickly to come to a resolution. I would definitely recommend her.

I found this law office for my husband when he was injured at CAT. The man basket he was in was hit from behind by a crane which caused pretty serious whiplash type injuries to his neck. When we initially sat down with Shay we were relieved because we felt like we were in good hands with this law office. Little did we know that initial sit down would be the last time we ever seen Shay. Right away we were directed to a secretary with all future communication and later assigned to a random office lawyer. Shay did nothing more than present as the face on the billboards. Once you’re signed as a client you’ll get whoever they give you to work your case. That rubbed us the wrong way from the very start. I personally did a lot of the legwork on this case as far as collecting bills and gathering medical records. Despite it being a pretty clear case it dragged on forever because little details that had nothing to do with the actual accident or injury were allowed into the case. It ended up going to trial which was held in Peoria. That was inconvenient considering we live in Decatur. The trial could have went better. There were several medical things not brought up that should have and again little details that should have never even been allowed. After trial we waited an entire month before we heard anything about the decision and an additional month of waiting for the other side to appeal or not and another 2 weeks after that before picking up his check. We ended up with a significantly lower amount than originally anticipated especially considering my husband is still in pain to this day and will likely deal with this painful injury for the rest of his life. We hesitantly ended up accepting the judge's order without appealing simply because we didn’t want to deal with this law office for another year. The entire experience left us feeling disappointed.

My wife and I would like to thank Mr. Shay for talking to about our complains on a doctor. He made us feel at ease and told us in ease to understand information of what we were looking at as far as a case was concerned. He gave use his truthful point of view and how to file a complaint with the IDFPR. Thank again for your help. God bless you, David and Diana Ashenfelter

Feeling lost with where to even begin closing a worker compensation injury claim, my husband and I reached out to Tim for guidance. After the initial consultation we knew we could trust him to do everything possible to facilitate a fair compensation. Tim and his assistant Corey made the process a smooth experience. They both were quick to respond to emails or phone calls and made special accommodations for Zoom meetings to reduce the need to travel. We felt understood and well represented. Thanks again Tim for your diligence and expertise!
