The Bertch Firm

I was sent over to Whit after the original firm couldn't get anywhere with the insurance company (Uber). The Bertch firm took over and things began to move. Whit kept me informed off what was going on throughout. My settlement was 4 times the amount the original firm offered. I hope I never need another injury attorney, but if I do I know who I'll call.

I was referred to The Bertch Firm after I was involved in an Uber accident resulting in injury. Whit was great to work with and was incredibly detailed. He provided accurate and realistic timelines every step of the way, always responded when I had a question or needed clarification and ultimately was able to negotiate a fair settlement without having to step foot into a courtroom. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again!

Whit & The Bertch Firm are the real deal. I was involved in a motorcycle accident a year ago. An individual cut me off on the 5 freeway which resulted in a pretty brutal accident. I had to be picked up by an ambulance from the side of the road and transported to the hospital to get some care. After a few days I hired an attorney, who was out for his best interest. Fortunately, he dropped me as a client because he thought i could have been at fault & there wasn’t a real way to win the case. Even though there was video provided that clearly showed the vehicle cutting me off. During that time, I was in pain & feeling low.. especially after getting dropped. So I called another law firm because In my heart I knew I wasn’t at fault. That law firm mentioned I had a 50/50 chance, again.. not what you want to hear especially when you know, 100% it was the other parties fault. I knew someone from that law firm and they shared my contact with Whit. 20 mins after that hearing about the 50/50 chance, I get a call from Whit. Right of the bat, he said “I do not believe you are at fault, from the video, I see what you saw. You were clearly cut off. I would like the chance to represent you, I think we have a great chance.” After all being said & done, we won! Whit is an individual who is honest, genuine and someone you really want on your side. He is someone who will have your best interest at heart. He was always available to answer any questions I had, kept me updated and never put me aside when I wanted to have a quick conversation. I certainly was not excited about being involved in a personal injury claim, but any anxiety or uncertainty left when I spoke with Whitney. Whit took a case that most lawyers were ewwww nooo since other party was an ex da. He got the help i desperately needed especially as a single mama. i refer all my friends to him since he took care of my son and i and know you will be in good hands☺️

I would not recommend this lawyer, especially If you are a healthcare provider. He is the kind of lawyer that gives lawyers a bad name. You cannot trust his word. I had a patient that changed from a lawyer I normally work with to this law firm. I spoke with Whit Bertch the day my patient switched over to him and I asked if he had everything he needed in the file. He said yes, and we discussed that he would contact my office prior to settling the case. I never heard from him. I called a a few months later and he said he settled the case and now says we never spoke on the phone. He said there was no lien, so he didn't have to pay me. Whit Bertch is not a lawyer you want to do business with. We were just notified that Bertch law firm did not pay the bill for the MRI center involved in this case as well as not paying our bills. After repeated unreturned phone calls, the MRI center is recommending sending Bertch law firm to collections to collect on their outstanding balance due. Just an update. Two years later and I still have not been paid by Bertch Law Firm. They are leaving me no alternative but to now have to file a complaint with the California State Bar Association. Since Whit Bertch just split the settlement offer with his client and did not pay my bill or the MRI center's bill, I had to take the client to small claims court. Just another update. Since Mr. Bertch never paid my bill or the MRI center's bills, his client has now had his wages garnished.

Used Whitt a while back this guy is one of the best in the business I will always use him if ever needed I won’t call anyone else

By far the best attorney out there in Orange County. My specific case was a bit complicated, therefore a lot of attorneys turned me down. Whit on the other hand took my case without any issues and was very helpful from the beginning in assuring that I will get a settlement from my Insurance Company who turned down my claim. Whit went above and beyond keeping me updated from start to finish. Recently we settled my case for more than I expected and I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. I’m not one to write reviews, but I was very impressed with the results that I had to this time around. Definitely recommend Whit Bertch to anyone out there, he negotiated to get a much higher settlement than I was expecting.
