Very disappointed in the direction we ended up going. Made a payment plan with them and it was explained that they would not file until everything was paid up front. I asked this question twice to the females I spoke to. I got all the information and paperwork they asked for in a timely matter. Didn’t get an update and had to deal with an AI assistant who couldn’t help out or spell the name correctly. After emailing them they finally called me and said yes we will review the paperwork. Then I got an email saying they won’t move forward until they have full payment. That threw up a red flag as dishonesty isn’t the best way to gain someone’s trust. I had a family member use them who recommended them and also mentioned to me their fees were never so high. Nights of getting all the paperwork organized to be lied to.

We used The Golden Law Group to file a Chapter 7 bankruptcy. The process was fairly easy, and they did their job. We also appreciated the payment plan they offer. However, don't expect much more from them after that. On the first call, we were told they would be sending information about the process and what to expect, as we have never been through anything like this before. Never received anything after numerous calls. Also, a couple of times we would call to ask a question before even filing, and we were told someone would call us back. Every time, someone different answered the phone, and they couldn't help us. On 3 separate occasions, nobody ever returned our calls. One time, they did return our call, but it was a week and a half later. We met with our bankruptcy lawyer once before our court date about the case. After that, we only spoke to him once, during the court hearing, when he said hi and said he'd call us later that afternoon. Which he never did. Not to mention, we did not receive any information on what to do next or any guidance. A few months after the discharge, we were still receiving calls from debt collectors. We called Golden Law Group to inform them, and again, they said they'd have someone call us, and again, nobody ever did. Here we are, a year and a month after the bankruptcy discharge, and we are still getting calls from debt collectors. We have reported the harassing phone calls to the Golden Law Group on 3 separate occasions, and we still cannot get anyone to help. We have left numerous messages with different people answering the phone, and still nothing. Last call was on Jan 26th, still waiting. If you're looking for someone to just file and not provide anything else, yeah, I would recommend Golden Law Group. But if you're expecting good customer service or any help beyond the filing, I'd find somewhere else.

My case was handled with speed and accuracy. Everyone I spoke to Golden Law Group was friendly and knowledgeable. When I had questions I got nice friendly answers. I highly recommend them if you are in need of a good Bankruptcy Group. Not proud I had to do this, but sometimes it's your only alternative.
