Avoid This Lawyer at All Costs!** I cannot stress enough how disappointed I am with the service I received from this lawyer during my divorce proceedings. From the beginning, I felt completely misled and taken advantage of. Not only did they charge an outrageous fee with no clear breakdown, but it quickly became apparent that they had little interest in actually resolving any of the issues in my case. This lawyer failed to manage key aspects of the divorce, showing complete incompetence when it came to addressing important matters. Every time I reached out with questions or concerns, I was met with either vague responses or complete radio silence. It felt as though they were simply not going through the motions, doing the bare minimum, while continuing to charge me for services that were not being rendered. I trusted them to navigate this difficult time in my life, and they absolutely fumbled it. Instead of providing clarity and direction, they added stress and confusion, leaving me in a worse position than before. Their lack of attention to detail and utter disregard for the complexities of my case was truly shocking. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, **DO NOT** hire this lawyer. To Preface I used Josiah’s services for a business dispute/ possible business fraud matter. Do not recommend if you are needing litigation against another party (outside the realms of family and divorce court). Extremely delayed service & was not treated well after paying for my retainer. If you need timely correspondence and open communication regarding your case i suggest saving your money and going with a different lawyer. I first paid for a demand letter to be sent that was not actually sent for 6 months. I then had to advocate for a partial refund on my retainer after a year of slow movement when it had been made known statutes of limitations was a serious factor in my potential case. I had to email multiple times every single time and call his office for a response To any email sent. It was very stressful for me that Josiah and his team did not do all they could with their knowledge to move paperwork and advocate on my behalf. This office needs a more qualified paralegal outside of Lois to work alongside Josiah. I found her to be complacent and rude. Beyond being unhappy with how my contract was upheld or lack thereof, I was sued by the party I had hired Josiah to correspond with a month after requesting our contract be nullified. Everything happens for a reason, but hiring Josiah greatly delayed and damaged any momentum I could have had with pursuing Justice. Edited to add: thanks for your response but it does not take 6 months to send a demand letter. The timelines that your firm operated on for my legal matter were extremely inappropriate and disrespectful to me as a client. The $900 sent for my demand letter should have been taken care of before accepting the 3k retainer (which I would not have gone through with if you were honest about the demand letter not being sent). In my experience your firm did not practice or value open communication. In reality it took a full year for your firm to send two demand letters, and not utilize the supporting documents provided to continue correspondence with the opposing counsel. You frivolously wasted precious time that I did not have to waste. Please be honest with future potential clients about how your team operates and turn away clients you cannot or will not serve instead of stringing them along.

BEWARE, This guy charges you $300 to briefly speak on the phone on the initial visit. I paid that to get no good information. They spam the crap out of you once you don’t choose their $3,000 retainer. I found legal counsel who didn’t require payment on the 1st visit. Attorney Tyler Dahl which is my legal counsel charges you for work done not a free handout in advance. They need to stop emailing and texting me before I send a cease and desist, and take them to court for harassment.
