Was referred by State Bar of Michigan and called for a consultation. Partially spoke with one paralegal and thought it was going well, however the next morning was greeted with a completely different paralegal and came across very crass and cold shoulder. She demanded that I never received the referral from the State Bar and continued to just say that this is not what the office does. I asked politely if they were in Constitutional Law and civil rights. Rather then to receive a polite answer back was given even colder response of this office doesn't have the time of day to even speak to you attitude and call the state bar click....

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.<br><br>After further investigation into this matter, we wanted to follow up. We strive to provide excellent customer service. We are deeply troubled by any negative interaction with a person who reaches out to us for legal help. Although we have never worked with a person by the name of E. Spacelingg, we believe we are able to identify him or her based upon a recent interaction. There seems to be some confusion with this reviewer. Contrary to their belief, they were NOT referred to us by the State Bar for the legal matter they described to us. And, after reviewing the information they left with our reception, our staff attorney was able to immediately determine that we are not able to provide legal services for the issue that was described. Proceeding to schedule and conduct a more detailed consultation would have unreasonably delayed the caller in finding appropriate legal help. Our staff politely explained this to them. And we followed up with a written communication explaining all of this in more detail and providing resources to help find an appropriate attorney who can assist. We feel that our response was appropriate and professional. But, again, we truly regret any frustration that this person may have experienced and wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors.

Possibly a good law office, but our experience was less than par with Midgord. Midgord came unprepared to an emergency exparte hearing, filed allegations and "findings" improperly causing Judge Garcia to be extremely upset, and from the looks of things on the winning plaintiff side, the defense did not even have full proof of evidence and ran off of hearsay.
Did I mention he looks like a frat boy millennial with a man bun? If you just passed the bar, you should have said that upon hiring, sir!!
From presentation, I feel as though a young lawyer not thorough in their findings, cost a defendent a large sum of money, while looking unethical and mediocre to the judge.
Midgord is a joke of a lawyer, with far stretch reaches that any judge could see through. Save your money and hire another lawyer from this law office WITH experience.

Thank you for sharing your concerns. Firstly, Mr. Midgorden has never represented or counseled you in any capacity. From my understanding, you are the girlfriend of an opposing party in an ongoing custody litigation. We understand completely the hard feelings that come from difficult legal disputes involving a loved one's children. Given the extreme stress that everyone is under in a custody dispute, it is completely understandable, and not at all uncommon, to direct anger towards the attorney representing the side you are against. We remind you, however, that Mr. Midgorden is under the same duty to zealously advocate for his client as the opposing attorney is for his or her client. This can sometimes lead to decisions or actions that may be upsetting or seem unfair from another perspective.<br>Without discussing the specifics of the case, we believe that the matter you referred to involved a hearing where the Judge simply denied a continuation of an Ex Parte Order. This decision was based on the specific standards for an Emergency Order, which can often differ in interpretation between involved parties. <br>Your presumption that Mr. Midgorden has 'just passed the bar' is incorrect. He has been licensed to practice law since 2020, the better part of four years. He is dedicated and has handled numerous cases with professionalism and diligence. With all due respect, your personal attacks based upon appearance, and inaccurate assumptions about his experience based upon it, are unreasonable, unfair, and neither reflective of his legal capabilities nor the services provided by our firm.<br>We respect your perspective and are committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism in our practice.<br>
