Wants to charge $400 without even saying if they will even take your case or not or if they even do that sort of case. The excuse was that they are professionals and need to be paid for their time which I get. Can’t an assistant help so that the cost is lower? I thought it was a little ridiculous.
Owner response
Dear Sass2000Cass, <br>Thank you for your comment and we are sorry you feel this way. To clarify, we receive numerous calls each week from individuals regarding employment issues, especially issues about whether they have been wrongfully terminated. If Mr. Whitehead met and provided free consultations for each person who called on employment cases, he would have no time to work on his pending cases. Thus, on employment cases, his policy is that on a case-by-case basis, he consults and handles them on an hourly fee basis. His initial consultation fee for employment cases is $400 per hour. Whereas, on other types of cases, such as personal injury cases, he provides free consultations. As for your question of whether an assistant can help to lower the costs, unfortunately, only an attorney can provide legal advice.
