Attorney Daniel Avelar was extremely helpful and dismissed my case, highly recommend this firm.
Unprofessional and unprepared. Don't waste your time or money. Definitely not trustworthy!!
I feel I've been more than generous and responsible in trying to keep up an maintain the progress with my citation on my end. However Diane from your office scammed me. She never reached out like she said she would. All she stated is your office likes to reset cases until they are thrown out or the judge makes a decision. I tried texting her no comment I tried calling got hung up on numerous times and was even asked if I knew how to use a phone disrespectfully on tuesday January 20, 2026. I firmly explained to Diane several times to let me know when the judge wanted to make a decision so I could be present. I stated that I'm not willing to take any offers due to the officers negligence. I drove to your office in person last month just to make sure we were clear Diane agreed. Told me I had nothing to worry about that everything was going to be reset this took place on January 20, 2026. Then out of no where I get a text message with a picture stating they have made a decision with out consulting me first. It's within my rights to make my own choices between trail by judge and trial by jury. What isn't right is for your personnel to be acting outta spite after I already paid my money. I Will be writing a letter to my Attorney General, reporting your business to the better business bureau, state bar, and seeking the proper legal counsel for this matter if need be Thank you.

I am extremely grateful for Wyatt Underwood and the entire team in El Paso, Texas. From the very beginning, they have been supportive, responsive, and truly invested in helping me through one of the most stressful times in my life. They are actively pushing to get my case dismissed, and knowing I have a legal team that is fighting for me brings a level of relief that is hard to put into words. They take the time to explain what is happening, answer my questions, and make sure I understand every step of the process. That kind of communication and reassurance means everything when you are dealing with a serious legal matter. What really stands out is how much they go beyond just the case itself. They have also been helping me with CSLB-related support, which shows they genuinely care about my future and not just the immediate legal issue. It is rare to find attorneys who look at the bigger picture and are willing to help wherever they can. Throughout this entire process, I have felt supported, respected, and taken seriously. Wyatt Underwood is not the type of firm that disappears once paperwork is signed. They stay involved, they follow through, and they stand by you when you need it most. If you are looking for an attorney in El Paso who will truly advocate for you, support you, and fight for the best possible outcome, I highly recommend Wyatt Underwood. I am incredibly thankful for everything they are doing for me during this time.

Wyatt & Lyndsey were absolutely amazing with my husband's case. They took great care of us from beginning to end. They worked tirelessly and put their heart into our case, the entire time listening to our concerns and reassured us everything would be ok. They were understanding of what we were going through which was priceless to us. Trial was long and hard but Wyatt is extremely knowledgeable and told my husbands story. It didn't even take the jury an hour to come to verdict of NOT GUILTY! Now we can live our lives without this hanging over our heads, all thanks to Wyatt and Lyndsey!

I have used this firm for all my court related issues. Once the ball was in their court Justine and Daniel got the job done. They kept me updated and showed the prosecution the truth of the situation. On the flip side Elena Grasheim was great when dealing with my civil issues. She doesn't talk much, but dont let that fool you into thinking she hasn't prepared. She came in and chopped up the opposition with hard facts.

Noo don’t waste your time here! Wyatt doesn’t even take the time to know you! Not even if it’s to help in your case!! He just says “that’s the best I can get you” without even trying! Go with someone that actually cares.

I’ve used Wyatt underwood for all of my tickets and such, they are swift and the prices are great for what you get, 100/100 even recommended it to my husband which was also taken care of, no need to do nothing after that call!

I paid to have them represent my case. I called them several times to check on the status of my traffic citation. I kept getting told to not worry and that they would “contact” me after a decision was made. I finally got something in the mail and I called again and they told me not to worry and that I didn’t need to show up to court and they would on my behalf. Long story short, I had to physically go to the police station and request my driving record and luckily found out I had court the next day! They ever called, emailed or sent anything. I called them again and they told me to take a defensive driving course and show in court. Not telling me that it wasn’t something that could be completed in a day. I paid for the driving course just to find out I couldn’t take it because I needed to send in an authorized or verify my identity which would take days. I went to court today just to find out that the driving course wouldn’t of been accepted either way because apparently that was decided at the last court date I was told not to attend and they never mentioned to me. Don’t wasn’t your time or money! If I had known I would of just paid the 400 dollars a year ago. The process was redundant and unprofessional.
