Not Recommended: A Warning to Others I recently had an experience with a law firm that left me deeply frustrated and disrespected—one I feel compelled to share to caution others. I was scheduled for an appointment, only to wait nearly three hours without explanation or acknowledgment. When I finally saw one of the lawyers, Lacey, departing for the day, I was met with further indifference. The receptionist claimed attorney Moore was “reviewing a file” and couldn’t estimate when he’d be available, dismissing my concerns. The lack of professionalism was staggering, but it was compounded by a far more troubling realization: I felt I was treated differently—judged and dismissed—because of who I am. Legal professionals are entrusted to guide clients through vulnerable times, offering expertise and empathy. Instead, Moore and Lacey prioritized their tasks over their client’s needs, displaying no regard for my time or emotional well-being. Their dismissive and apparent bias left me feeling unheard and devalued, which is antithetical to the trust and support that should define an attorney-client relationship. This experience has led me to distance myself from the firm entirely. Fortunately, I’ve since found a lawyer who treats me with the respect I deserve, providing clear advice and genuine support. Everyone deserves to be met with dignity in their pursuit of legal help. I hope this review spares others the same ordeal, encouraging them to seek out firms that prioritize empathy, punctuality, and ethical care—and to question any that fall short.
