My wife and I purchased a truck from a used car dealer located in Ft. Worth, Texas. The used car dealer represented to us that the truck had its catalytic converters. After purchase, we discovered that the car dealer lied to us. The truck did not have catalytic converters. Further, we learned that the dealer never had the truck inspected before selling it to us, which they are required to do. Not having a valid Texas State inspection kept the dealer from transferring the title of the truck to my wife and me. I purchased a vehicle from a fraud dealership in Garland, Texas. I paid a down payment and financed the rest with a bank. One day the bank notified me that they were no longer the lien holder and made the fraud dealership take back over the note.
